Micah Evans

Micah Evans is a native of Washington State but glass has taken him around the country studying and working with countless craftsman, artists and designers. Recently, Evans was the Resident-in-Glass at Penland School of Crafts from 2012-2015, the first flameworker to receive the glass residency at Penland. His work is a balance of clean traditional craft forms and personal sculptural work, constantly bouncing back and forth between the two. Evans currently lives and works in Austin, Texas.
